In today's fast-evolving business landscape, embracing the principles of environmental, social and governance (ESG) isn't just a fleeting trend. A study by Morningstar found that 90% of companies either have or are developing an ESG strategy. Each business has its own reason for implementing ESG, including public perception, risk mitigation, shareholder expectations, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency or simply wanting to do what’s best for society and the communities they serve.
While there are many documented benefits to implementing ESG strategies, plenty of companies use their success and initiatives to generate positive marketing and buzz around how their company is working toward a better future.
